There is no word to say thanks to LHLC for the endless positive support in Sushant’s development.

Sushant is a slow learner with difficulties in speech, concentration, physical and social activity. Before admission there were many questions — whether he would recover, whether he would be able to make it, whether he would need a special school for life. As parents we were totally in the dark, not getting any positive signal about his future. We tried many schools for his admission but got no support from any of them. Finally, we got support from Reshmy ma’am at LHLC.

Initially the biggest challenge was his social activity. Sushant never mixed with unknown people — whether teachers or friends. He would only do what was commanded by a teacher or parent and never took initiative. His core development was very poor, but this gradually improved over the period at LHLC.

The LHLC teachers and therapists discussed each matter and made plans to develop both his social and physical activity. Within a couple of months we found a drastic change in his behaviour. He started mixing with teachers and friends, and his learning skills also began shaping in a very positive manner. His handwriting and reading skills improved over the period. Within a year we found a complete change in Sushant’s behaviour, learning skills and social skills — so we planned to continue for a second year as well.

In the second year, the LHLC team worked to develop his skills further and build his confidence for admission into a normal school. They put in every effort to help him grow, and the results showed: we got him admitted to KCN International School (Maharashtra board). In his first unit test, he received an average of 80%.

All of this happened because of LHLC and their tireless effort to develop our child. We are so grateful our child could be a part of LHLC, which changed his future. The word “thanks” is far too small for all the support from LHLC, and especially from Reshmy ma’am and the management who run this centre for such a special cause.
