Our association with Little Hearts began in 2016 when we realized that a normal ICSE school was ruining my daughter Tulasi’s childhood. My daughter used to cry every day for two and a half years to go to school. Initially we thought this was a normal reaction, just like every other child. But when the pattern continued year after year, it was very disturbing. The school was unable and not equipped to help us find the cause.

We then approached an occupational therapist and discovered that Tulasi had a condition called Sensory Processing Disorder. We started her therapy at Little Hearts, where she began showing some progress. However, the trauma from her previous school continued, and in August 2016 we finally decided to take her out mid-term. On the recommendation of Reshmy, Gowri and Hema, we enrolled her full-time at Little Hearts.

Initially we felt unsure about our decision, but soon we saw amazing progress in Tulasi — her confidence level improved drastically. Within a couple of months we saw a marked difference. She was happy to go to school, which was a huge relief.

Looking at her progress in four to five months, Reshmy suggested we start looking at mainstream school admissions for the 2017–18 academic year. With Reshmy and Gowri’s help and recommendation, we got Tulasi admitted to NEXT School.

Today my daughter is leading a happy and carefree childhood — only because of the guidance and support of the entire LHLC team. It is very difficult to find a team that works so selflessly for the betterment of children with special needs. We owe our entire happiness and peace of mind to the fabulous team of LHLC. Thank you, team LHLC.
